Safe Home Security was founded in Connecticut in 1988 — not as a technology company, not as a cable bundle, but as a monitoring company with one purpose: to be there when something goes wrong, without exception. Decades later, we remain family-owned, privately operated,and focused on exactly that.

In 1988, the alarm industry was dominated by large corporations that treated residential monitoring as a volume business. Response times were slow. Relationships were transactional. We believed there was a better way.

Safe Home Security launched with professional-grade monitoring at a price families could afford — with the expectation that every alarm mattered as much as the last.

We grew from a regional Northeast provider to one of America's most established independent security companies — 46 states, nearly one million households. The size changed. The standard didn't.
