Website Terms of Use

Last Updated: August 25, 2026 · Effective Date: August 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the website at safehomesecurityinc.com and any related pages we operate (the "Website"). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

These Terms govern the Website only. If you are a Safe Home customer, your alarm monitoring agreement, service agreement, or equipment agreement governs your services and equipment. If anything in these Terms conflicts with that agreement, that agreement controls.

2. About Safe Home

Safe Home Security, Inc. ("Safe Home," "we," "us," or "our") sells, installs, services, and monitors security and life safety systems, including intrusion and fire alarm systems, indoor and outdoor cameras, home automation equipment, and medical alert services, at residential and commercial properties.

The Website is an informational and marketing site. It does not provide monitoring, and it is not a means of reporting an emergency or an alarm condition. In an emergency, call 911. To report a problem with your system, call us at 1-860-980-SAFE.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Website or to submit a request through it.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information in any form you submit.
  • If you submit information on behalf of a business or another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Website to learn about our products and services, request that a specialist contact you, and communicate with our representatives.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Website for those purposes. You may not modify, copy, distribute, republish, transmit, display, reproduce, sell, or create derivative works from Website content without our written permission.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use the Website for any unlawful purpose, or to promote unlawful products or services
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, our systems, or any account
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Interfere with the operation of the Website or with anyone else's use of it
  • Use bots, scrapers, or other automated systems to access the Website without our written permission
  • Reverse engineer the Website or attempt to extract its source code
  • Copy or reuse our text, photographs, logos, or other content without our written permission
  • File a contact request without the intention of considering a purchase
  • File a contact request with the intention of filing a lawsuit against Safe Home

6. Paying Your Bill Online

Our bill pay page directs you to a customer portal operated by third-party payment providers Twin Oaks and Paymentus. You create and manage your login with the providers directly through the link, not with Safe Home. You enter your card or bank account details directly with them. Your use of that portal is governed by the providers’ own terms and privacy policies.

If you have a question about your bill, contact us at 1-860-980-SAFE.

7. Requesting Contact From Us

When you submit a request through the Website, you are asking us to contact you about our products and services. Submitting a request does not create a contract for services, and it does not obligate either of us to proceed.

You authorize us to verify the information you submit, including through third-party services, for the purpose of responding to your request.

8. Communications and Consent to Be Contacted

The operative consent is the disclosure presented to you on the form itself at the time you submit it. This section describes that consent; it does not replace it.

When you submit a request and check the consent box on our form, you agree that Safe Home, or any of its authorized affiliates or authorized agents calling on its behalf, may contact you for informational, operational, or marketing purposes, at the telephone number and email address you provide, including on a wireless number, using telephone calls, text messages, and email, whether or not your number is on any do-not-call list. This may include calls and messages placed with an automatic telephone dialing system or using a prerecorded or artificial voice, including an artificial voice generated by artificial intelligence.

You are not required to provide this consent in order to purchase anything from us. You may instead contact us directly at 1-860-980-SAFE.

You also agree that your consent represents a proper consent and signature under the E-SIGN Act, and you agree to be legally bound by your consent.

Separate from marketing, we contact you as needed to provide your service, including about appointments, system issues, alarm events, account status, and billing. These communications are necessary to provide monitoring and are not marketing. Some of these communications may be made from third parties calling on our behalf. These third-parties include, though may not be limited to Rapid Response, Alarm.com, OnTech, and Alula.

Opting out

  • Reply STOP to any text message. We stop marketing texts within 10 days, or as required by applicable law.
  • Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Call us at 1-860-980-SAFE and tell us.
  • Email info@safehomesecurityinc.com with the subject line UNSUBSCRIBE.

We honor opt-out requests promptly and in no event later than the period required by applicable law. Opting out of marketing does not stop service, billing, or alarm-related communications, which are necessary to provide your monitoring service.

9. The Safe Home Assistant

The Website offers an automated assistant that can answer general questions about our products and services. It is an automated system, not a person, and not a licensed technician.

THE ASSISTANT PROVIDES GENERAL INFORMATION ONLY. DO NOT RELY ON IT FOR ANY SAFETY, FIRE, LIFE SAFETY, OR EMERGENCY MATTER. IT MAY BE INCOMPLETE OR INCORRECT. FOR ANY ISSUE INVOLVING YOUR ALARM SYSTEM, SMOKE OR CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTION, OR MEDICAL ALERT EQUIPMENT, CONTACT US DIRECTLY AT 1-860-980-SAFE. IN AN EMERGENCY, CALL 911.

Do not provide alarm codes, passwords, payment card information, or medical information to the assistant. Conversations with the assistant may be recorded, or retained and may be used in order to train the generative AI used to power the assistant. Conversations are processed by our technology providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, video, software, and design, is owned by Safe Home or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.

If you submit information, feedback, or other content to us through the Website, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for the purpose of responding to your request and operating our business, subject to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Website and our services, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It is available at safehomesecurityinc.com/privacy-policy and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may link to or rely on third-party websites and services, including our payment processor, our monitoring platform providers, and equipment manufacturers. We do not control those parties, and we are not responsible for their content, services, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a third party’s site or service is governed by that party’s terms and privacy policy.

13. Disclaimers

THE WEBSITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFE HOME DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Website will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any defect will be corrected. The Website may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or technical problems.

We work to keep Website content accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error-free, and content is subject to change without notice. Product descriptions, pricing, and availability shown on the Website are for general information and do not constitute an offer.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAFE HOME AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, OUR PRODUCTS, SERVICES, WEBSITE, MONITORING SERVICES, ALARM SYSTEMS, CAMERAS, MOBILE APPLICATIONS, OR RELATED EQUIPMENT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE INTENDED TO HELP DETECT AND REPORT CERTAIN EVENTS. THEY CANNOT PREVENT ALL LOSSES, INJURIES, CRIMES, EMERGENCIES, SYSTEM FAILURES, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, AND WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE APPLICABLE SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN ANY APPLICABLE MONITORING OR SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH US.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Dispute Resolution

You agree that no lawsuit or any other legal proceeding, connected with your use of the Website, shall be brought or filed more than one (1) year after the incident giving rise to the claim occurred. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact Safe Home at 1-860-980-SAFE and provide written notice describing the dispute and requested relief. You and Safe Home will attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally for thirty (30) days.

If the dispute cannot be resolved, it will be resolved through final and binding arbitration administered by American Arbitration Association under its applicable consumer arbitration rules. Arbitration will be conducted by one arbitrator in the state and county of the company headquarters, unless the parties agree otherwise. The arbitrator will have authority to determine the enforceability and interpretation of this arbitration provision, except that courts may decide whether a dispute is eligible for arbitration and may hear claims properly brought in small-claims court or requests for temporary injunctive relief.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, arbitration will be conducted only on an individual basis. You may not participate in or bring a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action, either in arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction. The arbitrator may not combine the claims of multiple individuals or conduct a representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable, the affected class or representative claims must proceed in court, and the remaining arbitration agreement will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Subject to Section 15, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date below. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Website after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

18. General

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a third-party as necessary for the fulfillment of our services, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Safe Home regarding the Website. As stated in Section 1, your customer agreements govern your services and equipment and control in the event of a conflict.
